Visual C++ Runtimes (also called redistributables or VCRedist) are official system libraries from Microsoft. They contain pre-written code that programs built with Visual C++ need to run.
When in doubt, install all runtimes from 2005 to 2022 (both architectures). Many game and software repackers include them automatically.
