White Knight at c3. Black Rook at a4, Black Bishop at e4. Classical: Knight forks; Black saves one. Quantum: Knight moves to b5 in superposition, threatening both. At any turn, instead of moving, a player may measure a specific square. If the square contains a piece (in superposition), the wavefunction collapses, and that piece is "realized." If the square is empty, the collapse removes all probability amplitudes that had a piece there.
