Creature Commandos is the first television series of the DCU (Chapter One: Gods and Monsters) and serves as a direct follow-up to the 2021 film The Suicide Squad and its spin-off series Peacemaker . Plot Summary Set after the events of The Suicide Squad , the series follows Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), who, due to political restrictions on using human prisoners for Task Force X (the Suicide Squad), creates a new black ops team composed entirely of incarcerated monsters. The team is assembled for a high-risk mission in the fictional Eastern European nation of Pokolistan.
