Sonarr | Rutorrent Patched

Abstract As users build local media libraries, automation is key to managing TV show episodes efficiently. Sonarr is a popular Personal Video Recorder (PVR) for Usenet and BitTorrent users, while ruTorrent is a feature-rich web interface for the rTorrent client. This paper outlines the technical integration of Sonarr with ruTorrent, focusing on configuration, labeling, post-processing, and common troubleshooting. The integration allows Sonarr to send download tasks to ruTorrent, monitor queue status, import completed files, and rename/organize them into a structured library. 1. Introduction Sonarr monitors RSS feeds for new episodes, sends download requests to a client, and renames/moves the downloaded file. ruTorrent (backed by rTorrent) provides a lightweight, high-performance BitTorrent client with label and autotools support.
