With the recent physical media release of Snowpiercer Season 2, I wanted to take a close look at Episode 5, specifically on the BD50 disc. For those who don't know, a BD50 (dual-layer, 50GB) is the gold standard for a TV-on-Blu-ray release—provided the studio doesn't cram too many episodes on one platter.
You are a fan of the production design. The physical media reveals the craft of the set construction—the rivets, the dust on the electrical panels, the frost on Sean Bean’s beard. You cannot see that on TNT.
