I’ve just finished watching (the BDMV release), and I’m still reeling. This episode is everything a series finale should be – tense, heartbreaking, and beautifully resolved. The writing brings DI Jimmy Perez’s most personal case yet to a gripping close, and Douglas Henshall delivers some of his finest acting of the entire series. No spoilers, but the final ten minutes left me breathless.
