Sehmale Tube May 2026
These tubules are the only place in the male body where spermatogenesis (sperm production) occurs. Inside their walls, stem cells divide continuously, transforming into mature sperm over 64–72 days. The tubules are lined with Sertoli cells, which nourish developing sperm, and surrounded by Leydig cells (which produce testosterone).
Seminiferous tubules are roughly 900 tiny, looped tubes packed into each testicle. If uncoiled, each tubule would be 30–80 cm long, and together they would stretch over half a kilometer. sehmale tube
