Sentiment analysis reveals a generally supportive tone (average VADER compound = +0.31) but a persistent skepticism toward formal healthcare (45 % of respondents express distrust). The findings suggest that r/youngthroats functions as a peer‑support network that can both augment and undermine clinical care.
