Unlike its Terran analog ( Ardea herodias ), H. rimworldensis exhibits extreme behavioral plasticity, including necrophagy, opportunistic tool use, and a commensal relationship with mechanoid debris fields. This paper documents the species’ morphology, reproductive strategy, and its unique ecological niche as a facultative follower of human settlement.
