Then she wakes up. She's in her apartment. Leo is calling her name. The archive is gone. Corina is a stranger on the news, accepting an award for "Project Echo." Then she wakes up

Maya works at the National Media Morgue , a flooded-basement archive of decaying tapes, reels, and discs. She's tasked with "low-priority digitization" — corporate training videos, local news bloopers, cable access flotsam.
