For those who don’t know: the site maintains a library of edited audio clips from Cockpit Voice Recorders (CVRs) of flights that crashed. They usually run 1-5 minutes and sync the radio transmissions with the final moments of the flight.

Reply 2: I actually use the site for training (CRM – Crew Resource Management). Listening to how crews break down under stress (or stay calm) is a lesson you can’t get from a textbook. But yes, it’s heavy.
