Magellan Bryce Canyon Tent [cracked] -

They snag constantly on the fabric flap. After a season of use, teeth misalign, and you’ll be babying them shut. Lubrication (zipper wax) helps but doesn’t solve the design.

The 4-person has a center height of ~52 inches (4’4”). Not stand-up, but you can change clothes while kneeling. The 6-person (~60 inches) is better for taller folks. Cons (The Bad & The Ugly) 1. The Rainfly is a Joke This is the biggest complaint. The fly only covers the top mesh dome, leaving the lower 12–18 inches of sidewall fully exposed. In any wind-driven rain, water seeps through the uncoated lower fabric and zippers. This is not a rain-ready tent —more of a "morning dew" shield. magellan bryce canyon tent

They’re cheap, brittle, and prone to splintering in wind or if you bend them too aggressively. Replacements are hard to find because Magellan doesn’t sell pole parts separately. They snag constantly on the fabric flap

You can move it around after setup. Works fine on wooden platforms or hard-packed ground where staking is difficult. The 4-person has a center height of ~52 inches (4’4”)

Large mesh panels on the upper half of the tent and a mesh roof allow excellent airflow. In dry, warm conditions, you can leave the fly off and stargaze with minimal condensation.

Two-pole dome design. Even a novice can pitch it in 5–7 minutes . Color-coded pole sleeves (grey vs. black) and clips (not sleeves) on the newer models speed things up.
