Bilbo, reluctantly, joins the quest. And on this journey, he finds a mysterious ring. Uss ring mein hai woh power jiska aage chal kar The Lord of the Rings mein bahut bada khatarnak effect hota hai. 1. The “Middle-class” Hero Bilbo is not a mighty warrior. Woh ek simple, middle-class creature hai. Hindi cinema aur mythology mein humesha se yahi raha hai: the reluctant hero. Like Lord Rama going to the forest or a middle-class boy from Mumbai becoming a superhero – Bilbo’s journey feels apna (ours). 2. The Importance of the “Guruji” (Gandalf) Gandalf is every Hindi film’s Guruji or Mentor . He pushes Bilbo out of his comfort zone. “Duniya tumhari ghar ke darwaze par nahi rukti, Bilbo Baggins,” Gandalf kehta hai. Yeh dialogue Hindi audience ke liye motivation jaisa hai. 3. Food & Family Hobbits are obsessed with breakfast, second breakfast, and dinner. Honestly, kya yeh hum Indian audience se zyada different hai? The dwarves singing while cleaning dishes? That feels like a Punjabi wedding after-party. The warmth of The Shire feels very similar to an Indian village. Action, VFX, and the Gollum Scene The highlight of An Unexpected Journey is the "Riddles in the Dark" scene between Bilbo and Gollum. Sir Andy Serkis ne Gollum ko itna real banaya ki Hindi belt mein log theater mein se chillane lage: “Bach ke reh, Bilbo!”
