As I explored more, I stumbled upon a quaint, snow-covered market square. The vibrant colors of the stalls and the lively atmosphere made me feel as though I was experiencing the sights and sounds of a traditional Latvian market.
The next day, as I walked through the very streets I had explored virtually, I felt a sense of déjà vu. But it was a pleasant one, as I was able to appreciate the details and landmarks I had discovered online. Google Maps' Street View had become an integral part of my travel experience, allowing me to immerse myself in the city before and during my visit.
As I wandered through Riga's enchanting streets, I knew that I would always cherish the memories of my virtual and real-life explorations of this incredible city.
I started at the Old Town, with its picturesque buildings and winding streets. I virtually strolled down Strēlnieku iela, taking in the vibrant colors of the buildings, the ornate facades, and the quaint shops. I spotted a charming café, where I made a mental note to grab a warm pastry later.
