Athena appears, disgusted, revealing she wanted Kratos to take Zeus’s place as the new god of order. Kratos refuses, impales himself with the Blade of Olympus — releasing “Hope” to mankind — and finally, maybe, dies. god of war 3 ps2

But in this imagined PS2 finale , there is no mercy. Kratos kills Zeus with his bare hands. Greece floods, collapses, and fades into darkness. Kratos sits alone in the ruins — victorious, empty, and cursed to live.
