My role is to be the one thing that isn't a threat. To be the wall that protects you, not the one that falls on you." Visually, Miss Liz rejects the cartoonish. Her productions utilize forced perspective and high-fidelity miniature props to sell the illusion of scale. "I don't watch Miss Liz to see destruction," says one long-time subscriber. "I watch to see what it feels like to be small enough that someone can finally carry all my problems for me." As digital effects become more accessible, Miss Liz is currently developing a series of interactive "Hand-Cam" experiences, where viewers can look up from a tiny perspective as she tends to a terrarium city.
