The last 10% of the work took 90% of the time. The last 1% (fixing the font rendering on Linux) took another 10%. I now understand why so many projects die at 95% complete. It’s been a long road. Longer than I ever anticipated when I typed out the first messy line of pseudocode (or sketched that first confusing flowchart) for what would eventually become Crossing the finish line is the hardest part
I’ll be watching the bug reports like a hawk for the next two weeks. If nothing catches on fire, we’ll bump it to 1.0 stable. If everything catches on fire… well, that’s what the "b" is for.
to everyone who tested the alpha, tolerated the crashes, and believed that a project with this ridiculous of a name deserved to exist.
