اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، اَللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ Transliteration: Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala aali Muhammadin, kama sallayta 'ala Ibrahima wa 'ala aali Ibrahima, innaka Hamidun Majeed. Allahumma barik 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala aali Muhammadin, kama barakta 'ala Ibrahima wa 'ala aali Ibrahima, innaka Hamidun Majeed.
صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ Meaning: "May Allah send His peace and blessings upon him." 3. The One with the Greatest Reward (10x Mercies & 10x Sins Erased) The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah sends ten blessings upon him, erases ten sins from him, and raises him ten degrees in rank." (An-Nasa'i). The simplest way to get this is:
"O Allah, send Your mercy upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your mercy upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious. O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You sent Your blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious." 2. The Shortest & Most Comprehensive (Durood-e-Ashrafi / Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) The Prophet (ﷺ) said that the best Durood is the one that is shortest in wording but vast in meaning. It’s a beautiful and spiritually rewarding question. When asked for the "best" Durud Sharif (also spelled Durood or Salawat ), Islamic scholars agree that while all salutations upon the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) are virtuous, the are those that were taught by the Prophet (ﷺ) himself or by the Sahaba (companions) as transmitted through authentic hadith.
