One of the first hurdles for new Ableton users is getting third-party instruments and effects (like Serum, Massive, or Valhalla) to show up in the browser. Unlike some DAWs that scan automatically, Ableton requires you to point it to the correct folders.
If a plugin still doesn't appear, try reinstalling it with "Run as Administrator" (Windows) or checking your macOS Privacy settings. Have a specific plugin giving you trouble? Let me know in the comments!
