A Javascript Error Occurred In The Main Process Reolink -

Not in the camera's own interface. It materialized as a small, system-level dialog box, the kind that crawled up from the deep bones of his computer. It had no icon, no friendly blue frame. Just stark white text on a grey background:

For three seconds, the desktop was clean.

But below it, someone—or something—had appended a line of plain English. a javascript error occurred in the main process reolink

“Stupid update,” he muttered, and opened Task Manager. He found "Reolink.exe" in the list, selected it, and hit End Task .

The camera on the Reolink—the one pointed at the crib—was somehow showing a view of his own back, his hunched shoulders, the glow of the error box on his face. He whipped his head around. The camera on the wall was still pointed at the crib. Nothing had moved. Not in the camera's own interface

But in the darkness, from the nursery, the electronic hum continued. And the whisper was no longer a whisper.

It was a laugh.

"...wasn't breathing... didn't log it... just a glitch..."
